We start by hand-picking only wild-harvested jujube seeds; every batch is rushed to the processing line within hours of collection to lock in peak freshness and potency.
Our multi-step process combines hot-water decoction, ethanol percolation, and cold maceration to pull the full spectrum of bioactives while leaving behind waxes, fibres, and other unwanted matrix materials.
The crude liquor is then micro-filtered, vacuum-concentrated, and low-temperature spray-dried to evaporate moisture and produce a free-flowing, highly soluble powder with minimal carriers.
Before release, each lot is screened for jujuboside content by UV, checked for heavy metals by ICP-MS, and submitted to 21-day microbial challenge testing (bacteria, yeast, mould, E. coli, Salmonella, S. aureus). Accelerated stability studies at 40 °C/75 % RH confirm shelf-life predictions. Only material that meets or exceeds the Certificate of Analysis is approved for export. INTRODUCTION
Our extract is derived exclusively from the seeds of wild Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa. The primary marker, jujuboside, is standardised to ≥5 % total saponins. The powder is yellow-brown, 95 % through 80 mesh, neutral odour, water- and ethanol-soluble, and remains stable for 24 months when stored sealed, cool, and dry. Thanks to long-term contracts with mountain-side collectors, we keep raw-material costs low and pass the savings on to you.
