Our Ginger Rhizome Extract is standardized to a routine 5 % total gingerols.
The actives include 6-, 8- and 10-gingerol together with 6-, 8- and 10-shogaol and related pungent compounds.
The material is produced by solvent extraction followed by high-temperature spray-drying; the heat step darkens the naturally pale extract to a brownish hue, a colour selected by many customers for their finished formulations.
The process keeps microbial counts low while fully meeting residual-solvent limits.
The Extract Factory routinely sets the solvent residue at ≤ 50 ppm; tighter limits can be arranged on request.
